About Stephanie
I’m Stephanie Gould.
I welcome you to explore my classes and offerings.
My unique approach to teaching and therapeutic work is grounded in my background in psychology, wellness, yoga therapy, dance, yoga and meditation. I strive to work with the whole person and integrate practices that relieve stress in the body, mind, spirit and breath. I've been teaching yoga since 2008 and practicing yoga for over thirty years.
My training and qualifications include:
I hold a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology from Harvard University and worked for 23 years as a psychotherapist with families and children.
I'm a Certified Yoga Therapist through the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT) (2016), Yoga for Cancer (Y4C) (2011) Yoga Nidra through Ishta Yoga ( 2018) Restorative Yoga through Jillian Pransky (2010).
I'm a lifelong learner and I’m pursing a certificate in Positive Psychology through the Wholebeing Institute.
My treatment approach seeks to enhance the health and wellbeing of the whole person. Some of my clients are in a life transition and at a crossroads, others are dealing with bodily pain, cancer, anxiety, depression, and stress.
As I grow older, I find my body and mind need yoga more. Physically, yoga keeps me fit, supple and strong. Mentally and emotionally, it helps me be more resilient and helps me to grow and evolve as a person.

Her gentle, individual guidance in class along with her knowledge of yoga for optimum bone health gives me complete trust in her in class. And I know I’m being proactive in rebuilding my bone health.”
